Internship Opportunity with DFFE & Gamagara Local Municipality
The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE), in collaboration with Gamagara Local Municipality, is offering internship placements as part of the Youth Graduate Internship Project 2025. This programme is designed to give South African youth graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in the environmental and scientific sectors.
Internship Details

Location: Gamagara Local Municipality, Northern Cape

Duration: 6 months

Stipend: R5,445 per month

Who Should Apply?
If you have completed a minimum 3-year tertiary qualification in any of the following disciplines, you are encouraged to apply:

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, you must:

Be a South African citizen, currently unemployed, and aged 18–35

Not have previously participated in a public service internship

Have completed your qualification at a recognised tertiary institution

Submit a detailed CV listing your major subjects (academic transcripts may also be included)

Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit certified documents
