Job Overview:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for experienced Cashiers for their Berea Pharmacy store in East London. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the point of sale while ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Process customer transactions using the Dis-Chem operating system

Ensure zero tolerance towards inaccuracies and fraud
-
Adhere to customer service policies and maintain world-class shopping experience
-
Report customer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor or store management
-
Handle cash flow and ensure safe cash handling procedures
-
Process all payments (cash, bank cards, vouchers, etc.) and manage loyalty cards for various partners
-
Ensure stock/items/scripts are scanned and paid for correctly
-
Report suspicious behavior to management
-
Adhere to security procedures and maintain a professional attitude
Minimum Requirements:
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
6 months of cashier/till operations experience
-
Computer literate, especially in MS Office
-
Strong numerical skills
-
Command of the English language
-
Basic customer service skills
-
Willing and able to work retail hours
