About the YES Programme:
The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a public-private partnership initiative led by the Presidency to tackle youth unemployment in South Africa. Eskom is proud to be a key contributor by offering work opportunities to young people across the country through its YES Programme.
This opportunity will give successful applicants exposure in the energy sector and help them build valuable experience in Eskom’s various operations and maintenance divisions.
Minimum Requirements:

Be a South African citizen

Be between the ages of 18 and 34

Have Grade 12 or equivalent, and/or post-matric certificate/programme
Selection Criteria:
Candidates must:

Not have been employed permanently with one employer for more than 1 year
-
Not be enrolled in full-time studies during the year of employment

Not have previously participated in any YES initiative

Be prepared to undergo Eskom’s recruitment and placement process
