About the Internship:
The National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI) invites applications for a 1-year internship in the field of Risk & Compliance. This opportunity is designed for passionate individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in risk identification, compliance, reporting, and administration within a respected national organization.
Purpose of the Internship:
The goal is to empower interns with essential skills in risk management and compliance while supporting the Council’s mission to uphold regulatory standards within the road freight and logistics industry.
Interns will work closely with senior professionals, gaining exposure to audit practices, risk assessment, and administrative compliance duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met

Filing, archiving, and maintaining proper documentation

Monitoring the quality and accuracy of reports

Assisting with departmental calendars, minutes, and general admin

Organizing training and awareness sessions
-
Supporting the risk identification and mitigation process
-
Providing general assistance to the Risk & Compliance team
Minimum Requirements:

Matric Certificate

BTech or Degree in:

Risk Management
-
Legal Studies
-
Internal Audit
-
Forensic Investigation

IT Audit
-
Skills Required:

Teamwork and ability to work independently

Attention to detail and time management

Strong computer literacy (especially document and filing systems)

Good written and verbal communication

Monthly stipend provided for the 12-month internship duration
