Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Mathematics: In the Intermediate Phase (Primary School), ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the CAPS curriculum.

Subject Development: Stay up-to-date with educational trends, pedagogical advancements, and curriculum development.

Pedagogical Approach: Experience with PBL (Project-Based Learning) and IBL (Inquiry-Based Learning) is desirable.

Mathematics Models: Teaching Number Sense and other relevant mathematical learning models.

Technology Integration: Actively promote the integration of IT in teaching and learning. Brescia House School is a Microsoft Showcase School, so candidates with Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) certification are preferred, or at least willing to obtain these certifications.

Co-Curricular Activities: Participate in an active co-curricular Intermediate Phase program.

Professional Development: Attend conferences, meetings, and training opportunities to stay informed and motivated.
Selection Criteria:

Qualifications: Relevant teaching qualification from a recognized institution.

Experience: Comprehensive teaching experience with a solid understanding of the ISASA and CAPS curriculum for Mathematics.

Certifications: SACE Registration is required.
