Job Description:
ADvTECH is looking for an enthusiastic Sports Intern to join the Pinnacle College Kyalami team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in teaching and coaching under the guidance of experienced educators and mentors.
Key Responsibilities:

Coaching & Mentorship: Assist with coaching sports teams and activities, under the supervision of experienced coaches.

Teaching Assistance: Provide support to educators in sports-related subjects and activities, gaining hands-on experience.

Student Engagement: Engage with students in a positive and motivating manner, encouraging teamwork and discipline in sports.

Supportive Role: Help in the preparation of sports events, activities, and matches.

Skill Development: Take part in the coaching and mentorship programs offered to interns, enhancing both teaching and sports coaching skills.

Monthly Stipend: A small stipend will be provided to assist with transport and tuition fees.

Coaching & Mentorship Program: Gain valuable experience in sports coaching, as well as mentorship from professionals in the field.

Practical Experience: Work closely with experienced educators and sports coaches, learning and developing under their guidance.

Post-Internship Opportunities: Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for a permanent role within ADvTECH schools, provided a suitable position is available upon graduation.

Matric Qualification

Registered for a Relevant Teaching Degree: You must be registered for a teaching degree that qualifies you for the internship. Note that an associated sports degree will not meet all the required criteria.

Clear Criminal Checks are essential.

Provisional SACE Registration: You must be provisionally registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE) at the time of application.
