They are currently seeking a dedicated Foundation Phase Afrikaans Teacher (FAL) to join their dynamic and innovative team.
Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning: Plan and deliver engaging, boy-centered Afrikaans (FAL) lessons suitable for the developmental stage of Foundation Phase learners.

Differentiated Teaching: Adapt lessons to meet a variety of learning needs and styles, ensuring every boy’s potential is nurtured.

Innovative Approaches: Use creative, age-appropriate strategies to stimulate and engage young learners.

Academic & Pastoral Development: Take responsibility for both the academic and personal growth of the boys, implementing interventions where needed.

Administrative Skills: Manage lesson planning, student assessments, and reporting with attention to detail.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic teaching team, contributing to the overall success of the school.

Parental Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents, engaging them in their child’s educational journey.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years teaching Afrikaans, preferably in the Foundation Phase.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
-
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
-
SACE Registration.
-

Core Competencies:

Ability to create a warm, nurturing classroom environment.

Understanding of child development and the ability to cater to individual needs.

Fluency in both Afrikaans and English.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with parents and colleagues.
