Kyalami Preparatory School is an English-medium, co-educational, independent school located in the tranquil country surrounds of Midrand, Johannesburg. Serving approximately 451 pupils from Grade 000 to Grade 7, the school is part of the Kyalami Schools Group, which also includes Beaulieu Preparatory and Beaulieu College.
We invite applications for a locum teaching position to cover English (Grades 5–7) and Life Skills (Grade 6). We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and innovative educator who thrives in a dynamic teaching environment and is committed to excellence.
Minimum Requirements & Key Competencies:

A recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of 5+ years experience

Proven excellence in teaching English at intermediate phase level

Solid understanding of the CAPS curriculum

Familiarity with Thinking Schools South Africa (TSSA) learning strategies

Google Level 1 certification and confident use of digital platforms

Ability to research and implement academic enrichment tools and online reading programmes

SACE registration (compulsory)

Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills

Enthusiastic participation in school life and extracurricular activities
