📌 Role Summary
Nova Pioneer is looking for a Mathematics Teacher for the Intermediate Phase (Grades 4–6) to deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons and mentor Apprentice Teachers. You’ll be working closely with Learning Designers and Deans of Instruction to build an engaging learning experience aligned to 21st-century skills.
🧑🏫 Key Responsibilities

Teach Intermediate Phase Mathematics using inquiry-based learning methods

Design engaging, tech-integrated lessons with Learning Designers

Set ambitious goals and track student progress

Provide consistent feedback to students

Collaborate with teachers and instructional coaches

Support and mentor Apprentice Teachers

Participate in co-curricular programming

Attend staff meetings, PD sessions, and school events

Maintain communication with parents
✅ Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) or Bachelor’s degree + PGCE
-
SACE registration (include certificate and registration number)
-
Experience teaching Mathematics in the Intermediate Phase
-
Valid Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)
-
South African ID/passport and work permit if applicable
💡 Cambridge curriculum experience is an advantage, though not required.
