Role Overview

Duties and Responsibilities
Academic Delivery

Plan, organise, and deliver instructional content in History and Accounting

Ensure future-focused, inspiring, and engaging learning experiences

Support students’ incremental mastery in the subjects
Assessment & Reporting
-
Design and implement assessments aligned with IEB/CAPS requirements
-
Accurately track and report student progress
Student Development
-
Manage student behaviour with integrity and consistency
-
Mentor and inspire learners toward personal and academic success
Community & Professionalism
-
Act as a brand ambassador for the school

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community

Collaborate respectfully and professionally with colleagues
Administration & Compliance

Maintain accurate records and fulfill school administrative requirements

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies
Qualifications & Requirements

B. Education (FET Phase) or relevant Degree (NQF Level 7) with PGCE
-
Specialisation in History and Accounting
-
SACE registration (required)
-
Police clearance (required)
-
2–5 years relevant subject teaching experience
-
Digital literacy and confidence in using technology in the classroom

First Aid certification is advantageous
