📢 About the Internship
The Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP) is a structured two-year programme aimed at developing future financial management professionals for the public sector. Interns will be placed in the Municipal Budget and Treasury Office and receive comprehensive training aligned with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003.

Salary: R90,000 – R100,000 per annum (all-inclusive)

🎯 Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:

Have Grade 12 AND a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in one of the following:
-
Accounting
-
Finance
-
Risk Management
-
Auditing
-
Economics
-
-
Be computer literate
-
Have good communication and analytical skills
-
Be between the ages of 21 and 35
🧾 Key Learning Areas
Interns will gain exposure to:

Municipal financial operations
-
Compliance with MFMA and Minimum Competency Regulations (Gazette 29967, 15 June 2007)

Professional training in line with national standards for public sector finance
