Key Responsibilities:
As an Usher at the South African State Theatre, you will be responsible for:

Guiding and Directing Patrons: Assist patrons in finding their seats and navigating the venue.

Front of House Duties: Help with various customer service tasks within the Front of House Department.

Representing the Theatre: Uphold professionalism and courtesy while interacting with patrons.

Ensuring Safety and Comfort: Create a welcoming and safe environment for theatre-goers.
Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) or higher qualification.

Physical fitness is required for the role.

No prior experience is necessary – full training will be provided.
Skills and Competencies:

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Highly responsible and reliable.

Ability to work well in a team and under supervision.

A genuine interest in theatre and engaging with the public.
