Programme Synopsis
The IDC Internship Programme provides a 24-month, customised, structured, and supervised workplace experience to unemployed graduates. Interns gain real work exposure, mentorship from seasoned professionals, networking opportunities, and a carefully designed training plan.

Build a talent pipeline for IDC business areas and priority sectors.

Provide unemployed graduates with competencies for employability.

Enable graduates to network and explore career paths within the Corporation.

Help graduates apply academic knowledge in a real work environment.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements

South African citizen, under 35 years of age.

Completed qualification (see list below).

Not currently studying at any institution.
-
Not currently on / previously registered for any Learnership or Internship.

Effective English (written & verbal) communication skills.

Willing to undergo competency-based interviews and all pre-employment checks (criminal record, qualifications, citizenship).

Successful candidates must sign a 24-month fixed-term contract.

Placement
