Programme Overview

The IDC Internship Programme is a 24-month paid opportunity designed to provide structured workplace exposure. It helps graduates:

✅ Gain industry-relevant work experience
✅ Build networks and receive professional mentoring
✅ Explore different career paths within the IDC


Key Objectives

  • Develop a skilled talent pipeline for future business needs

  • Reduce youth unemployment by creating meaningful work experience

  • Empower graduates with real-life work exposure

  • Offer a bridge from theory to practice


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet the following:

✔️ South African citizenship
✔️ Under 35 years of age
✔️ Completed tertiary qualification (see accepted fields below)
✔️ Not enrolled in any institution at time of application
✔️ Not previously participated in any Learnership or Internship
✔️ Proficient in English (spoken & written)

  • Qualification verification

  • Proof of citizenship


Accepted Qualifications

🎓 BCom Accounting or Financial Management
(Specialising in Management Accounting is an advantage)


Placement

Successful applicants will be placed at the IDC Limpopo Regional Office.
