About the Internship
The City of Johannesburg invites qualifying youth from Johannesburg communities to apply for its 2025 Internship Programme in the GSPCR Department. This opportunity provides work-based training and on-the-job exposure, particularly in Corporate Performance Support within the Monitoring & Evaluation Branch.
Note: Applicants must not have previously participated in any internship related to their field of study.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4)

Completed 3-year Degree or Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in one of the following:

Public Policy

Social Science
-
Statistics
-
Internal Audit
-
Development Studies
-
Public Administration / Public Management
-
Monitoring & Evaluation

Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities

Assist with corporate performance management, evaluation, and reporting

Verify and evaluate performance data in scorecards

Support compliance with monitoring policies and procedures

Handle administrative and reporting tasks related to the internship
