Minimum Criteria

An appropriate academic degree qualification

SACE registration is essential

Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the IEB curriculum, Grades 8–12

A proven track record of success in Physical Sciences education

Passion for education and ability to foster higher-order thinking

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Innovative use of technology in teaching is essential

Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft platforms (advantageous)

A boy-centric and practical teaching approach

Familiarity with educational trends in science

Ability and vision to potentially lead the Science Department

Willingness to be actively involved in the life of the school, including extra-curricular activities
