Role Summary
Kingsmead College is seeking a passionate, experienced Visual Art Teacher for the Intermediate Phase (Grades 4–7). The ideal candidate will integrate creativity, collaboration, and technology into their teaching and foster an appreciation for the arts among young learners.
Minimum Requirements
-
Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or PGCE
-
SACE registration
-
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
-
Qualified and experienced in Creative Arts education
-
Proven ability to teach a range of art forms (drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, etc.)
-
Experience in integrated studies and collaborative teaching
-
Competency in using digital platforms and technology in teaching
-
Ability to organise art exhibitions and festivals
Desirable Attributes

Teaching expertise in additional subjects

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organisational and administrative skills

High energy, enthusiastic, and team-oriented
