Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Foundation Phase educator to join our Junior Preparatory team on a fixed-term contract. This position is ideal for a Grade 1, 2, or 3 teacher with a deep commitment to nurturing the emotional, social, intellectual, and cognitive growth of young learners.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate a sound understanding of current developments in Foundation Phase education (Grades 1–3)

Be professional, innovative, and creative in the classroom

Hold a relevant degree and professional teaching qualification
-
Be registered with SACE
-
Be familiar with CAPS and IEB curriculum
-
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Be confident using Google Workspace for Education in both physical and online classrooms

Be able to contribute to the school’s extramural programme
-
(Advantageous) Have experience in Time2Read and NumberSense programmes
