Christ Church Preparatory School and College seeks a passionate and qualified Part-Time Piano Teacher to join its Music Department from September 2025. This role involves afternoon individual piano lessons and participation in school musical events as required.
Minimum Requirements:

A relevant university degree, diploma, or professional qualification in Piano teaching

A genuine enjoyment of working with children and an understanding of age-appropriate development
-
Excellent communication skills in English

Computer literacy and administrative competency
-
Professional conduct, including punctuality, communication, and attention to student progress and feedback

Ability to work collaboratively within a team of music teachers
-
Must support and promote the Christian ethos of the school
-
If not a South African citizen, must have a valid work permit
Key Duties:

Provide individual piano lessons to students
-
Perform all administrative tasks related to practical instrumental lessons

Respond to parent communication within 24 hours

Attend special music functions at the discretion of the department head

Support school events and uphold school values and expectations
