Minimum Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed.), specialising in Intermediate or Senior Phase

SACE registration (or proof of application)
-
2–3 years’ teaching experience in Natural Science (Grades 4–7)

Solid understanding of the CAPS / IEB curriculum
-
Commitment to inclusive, inquiry-based learning
-
Strong classroom management, communication, and administrative skills
-
Ability to integrate technology effectively in the classroom

Willingness to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school
Added Advantages:

Experience teaching the IEB curriculum

Participation in extra-curricular activities

Familiarity with cross-curricular planning and assessment
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Natural Science lessons for the 21st-century learner

Plan, assess, and report on pupil progress

Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning

Contribute to the academic, spiritual, and holistic development of learners

Participate in school events and initiatives
