🛠️ Job Purpose
To ensure efficient, accurate service at the cash register while providing friendly customer service and contributing to store growth.
🧍♀️ Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and ensure a positive shopping experience

Follow cash-up procedures and handle cash securely

Process EFT, cash, and card payments accurately
-
Pack customer purchases
-
Perform daily cash-ups and hand over cash drops
-
Monitor for suspicious activity and follow security measures
-
Promote gift cards, rewards points, and in-store promotions
-
Maintain cleanliness of cashier area
-
Assist in stock takes and other tasks as assigned by management
📌 Minimum Requirements:
-
Matric certificate or equivalent
-
1 year of cashier or retail experience
-
Completion of Brights Induction (Service Excellence) (preferred)
-
Clear credit record
-
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
-
Strong numeracy and attention to detail
-
Ability to work under pressure
-
Team player and self-motivated
-
Willing to work flexible hours, including holidays
