Holy Rosary School, situated in Edenvale, Johannesburg, is an Independent Catholic Girls’ School and a member of ISASA. We are seeking to appoint a Sports Coordinator who has experience in coaching various sports disciplines and is passionate about the physical development of children. Holy Rosary Primary School offers a variety of sporting disciplines.
The successful candidate will work with pupils in the Primary School, as part of a vibrant and capable team.
Starting date: January 2026, with flexibility to accommodate the ideal candidate.
Requirements:

Respectful of the Catholic ethos of the school.

Strong administrative skills and ability to manage and control the sporting programme.

A degree in Sports Management or a teaching qualification with Physical Education as a completed subject.

Ability to teach an academic core subject would be an advantage.

Involvement in both the physical education curriculum and after-school sports programme.

Ability to contribute knowledge and experience to enhance the physical education programme and sports development, focusing on fitness, sports skills, and healthy lifestyle habits.

Strong communication skills for liaising with parents, staff, and children.

Child protection and sexual offences clearance certificates

First aid training
