Position Overview:
The Ridge School is seeking a passionate and experienced Piano Teacher to join their music department. The role involves teaching piano from beginner to advanced levels, preparing students for external music exams and scholarship applications, and participating in various school music events.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach piano to students from beginner to advanced levels.

Participate in Music Assemblies and Evening Soirees.

Assess students’ progress and maintain accurate records of their development.

Prepare students for external music examinations and scholarship applications.
Experience Required:
-
At least 5 years’ teaching experience in piano.

Ability to work with students from Grades 0 to 7.
-
Accompaniment experience for instrumentalists up to Grade 5 level (advantageous).

Music Theory tutoring for beginners (advantageous).
Qualifications:

Piano Teaching Licentiate accreditation from an International Music Organisation or BMus.
Reporting:
Reports to the Head of Music.
