Position Overview:
De La Salle Holy Cross College is seeking a qualified and experienced Business Studies Teacher for Grades 8–12. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering real-world, enquiry-based lessons and inspiring a love for Business Studies in students. The role also involves working collaboratively within a dynamic team, fostering professional growth, and participating in the co-curricular activities of the College.
Key Requirements:

Proof of registration with SACE
-
Clearance Certificate in terms of the Sexual Offenders’ Register
-
A suitable professional qualification from a recognised institution
-
Experience in teaching Grade 8–12 Business Studies
-
Ability to maintain high academic standards within the department
-
Previous experience in an IEB school (advantageous)

Strong willingness to embrace professional growth and mentorship
-
Ability to teach impactful and real-world Business Studies lessons
-
Innovative and flexible in integrating technology into teaching methods

Thorough understanding of the South African curriculum
-
A willingness to embrace the Catholic ethos, values, and mission of the College

Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities
