Minimum Requirements:
-
Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English

BMus degree with a PGCE, or
-
Four-year teaching degree (BEd) with specialization in Music for the Foundation or Intermediate Phase

Qualification in Piano and Flute will be advantageous
-
Experience with the Kodály method will be beneficial
-
SACE registration certificate
-
Experience with the IEB Primary School curriculum will be an advantage
-
South African citizen
-
Willingness to be involved in the school’s extracurricular activities

Ability to work as part of a team
-
Must be willing to assist after hours from time to time with events such as open days, concerts, etc.
