As part of our continued growth in the High School from January 2026, we are seeking an experienced and passionate English and History Teacher. This role includes teaching senior grades, with matric IEB experience preferred. Joining at this exciting stage of our development offers the opportunity to help shape and inspire our expanding student body.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and SACE registration.

  • At least five years’ experience teaching English and/or History, with experience in senior grades in either subject.

  • Matric IEB teaching experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to develop students’ analytical and critical thinking skills through literature and writing.

  • Strong knowledge of historical content and the ability to connect past events to contemporary issues in meaningful ways.

  • The ability to inspire a love for both reading and historical inquiry through engaging, interactive lessons.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • The ability to use various teaching strategies and educational technology effectively.

  • A willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the wider life of the school.

  • A preparedness to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
