Position Overview
Somerset College is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Grade 4 Head Teacher to lead a team of educators and teach core subjects within the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. The ideal candidate will combine leadership capabilities with a nurturing classroom presence and a commitment to the school’s Christian ethos.
Key Requirements

Relevant academic and professional teaching qualifications

Must be a class teacher, teaching core subjects

Experience and knowledge of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum (advantageous)

Proven leadership experience within an educational context

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

Excellent verbal and written communication

Strong administrative and organisational capabilities

Initiative and sustainability in academic and co-curricular activities

Understanding of and alignment with the Christian values and ethos of the school
