Position Overview
Bellavista School is looking for an experienced, innovative, and committed Senior Phase Educator to join the middle school team at Imagine Bellavista. This is a full-time, on-site role suited to an educator who thrives in creative, inclusive environments and is passionate about cognitive education in senior grades.
Key Responsibilities

Educate and assess Grade 8 and 9 learners to help them reach their full potential

Contribute to curriculum development with a focus on cognitive education principles

Foster calm, clarity, and connection in the fast-paced school environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
Minimum: 4-year teaching qualification or 3-year degree with a postgraduate teaching qualification
-
6–10 years’ experience, preferably in high school settings
-
Competent to teach English and History (Grades 8–9)

Exceptionally well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities
-
Professional, accountable, and a collaborative team player
-
Mature, dependable, reflective, and solution-focused under pressure
-
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Advantageous Skills & Experience

Training or experience in cognitive education
-
Competence in the Google Workspace environment

Ability to teach in isiZulu
-
Experience with inclusive education in mainstream classrooms

Confidence in integrating AI and multimedia into the learning experience
