Purpose of the Role:
To accurately identify, plan, and schedule maintenance and shutdown work, and maintain master data in the planned maintenance system in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification

Trade Test Certificate (advantageous)
Experience & Skills Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering planning or maintenance environment
-
English language proficiency
-
Strong time management skills
-
Computer literate in MS Office
-
Prior planned maintenance system training required
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Support:
-
Load and update task lists in the system
-
Capture, update, and maintain maintenance plans
Maintenance Scheduling:
-
Determine maintenance needs and coordinate with Artisans
-
Create and assign Work Orders and task lists
-
Generate Purchase Requisitions for non-stock items
-
Monitor material availability and arrange expediting
-
Release planned work and track forward workload
-
Estimate Work Order costs and weekly scheduled work
-
Allocate resources and create maintenance schedules
-
Conduct weekly planning meetings and issue schedules
-
Print Work Orders to support scheduled maintenance
Contractor Management:
-
Optimise use of internal/contractor Artisans
-
Confirm contractor attendance before job start

Prepare and collate legal appointment documents
