The Intern Strength and Conditioning Coach will be part of the Bishops Sports Performance and Wellness (SPW) Programme, primarily based at the Prep School, supporting the Sports Manager and Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

Support Biokineticists and Strength and Conditioning coaches in developing, coordinating, executing, and managing approved fundamental skills and physical activity programmes.

Assist in implementing Prep physical literacy and on-field sport conditioning sessions.

Conduct sports-specific testing to assess and improve learners’ athletic performance.
Skills Required

Excellent verbal and written communication

Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team

Strong administrative and time management capabilities

Ability to create inclusive, engaging lessons
Minimum Job Requirements
-
A sport-related degree or advanced qualification in Strength and Conditioning
-
Previous experience working with young children is advantageous
-
A passion for physical activity, fundamental movement, and holistic learner development
