Role Summary:

The Early Learning Teacher Assistant will adopt a holistic approach to supporting students, promoting their general progress and well-being. The role involves assisting the class teacher in creating a positive, engaging learning environment where students are motivated to achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in a nurturing learning environment that promotes engaged and active learning

  • Demonstrate professionalism regarding punctuality, behavior, and work standards

  • Continuously evaluate, reflect on, and refine classroom practices

  • Develop and enhance your role in the class through ongoing self-improvement

  • Attend school events and special occasions as required by the Head of School

  • Perform any additional tasks as directed by the School Head


What We’re Looking For:

  • Ability to understand and follow through with the teacher’s expectations and set activities

  • Adaptability and a positive attitude towards assisting with classroom learning

  • A deep understanding of the relevant age group and the needs of children

  • Genuine care and commitment to the highest standards of student welfare

  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Some prior child care experience is preferred
