About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Cashier for their Midlands store. The role involves supporting customer service at the point of sale, ensuring accurate transaction processing, and contributing to a world-class shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities

Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.

Establish professional relationships with customers and report complaints or compliments.

Process all purchases, payments, and loyalty cards accurately.

Handle cash flow responsibly and secure money in the till.
-
Follow proper security protocols and report suspicious behavior.
-
Maintain awareness of sales, promotions, and stock procedures.
-
Carry out and manage Dis-Chem 5-star communication principles.

Ensure all outgoing stock/items/scripts are scanned and paid for.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
Minimum 6 months’ cashier/till operations experience

Computer literate (MS Office)
-
Sound numerical skills
-
Strong command of English

Basic customer service skills

Willingness to work retail hours
