Job Overview:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires Casual Cashiers for their Jeffrey’s Bay store to support customer service at the point of sale while ensuring a world-class shopping experience. Cashiers will record customer transactions according to company policies and standard operating procedures with zero tolerance toward inaccuracies and fraud.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric
-
Minimum 6 months’ experience in cashier/till operations
-
Computer literate (MS Office)
-
Strong numerical skills and command of English

Basic customer service skills
-
Willing and able to work retail hours
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide excellent customer service
-
Process purchases, payments, and loyalty cards accurately
-
Manage cash flow and maintain secure cash drawers
-
Report complaints or compliments to supervisors

Follow Dis-Chem 5-star communication principles

Adhere to all operational and security procedures
-
Ensure outgoing stock/items are scanned and paid for

Handle daily takings confidentially
