Learnership Overview

Position: Traffic Trainee (x27)

Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract

Qualification Upon Completion: Certificate in Road Traffic and Law Enforcement (NQF Level 4)

Training Provider: Mangaung Traffic Training Academy
-
Purpose: Equip unemployed youth with foundational skills in traffic law enforcement and improve employability in public safety services.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:

Be a South African citizen
-
Have completed Grade 12 / Matric
-
Hold a valid driver’s licence
-
Provide SAPS clearance results (no criminal record)
-
Provide proof of medical fitness
-
Reside permanently within the Ngwathe Municipality jurisdiction
Additional Conditions
Successful candidates must:

Pass a written assessment and interview

Maintain high physical fitness levels
-
Adhere to the Ngwathe Municipality’s Code of Conduct

Undergo training under the Firearm and Ammunitions Act
-
Be willing to wear uniform, work shifts, and operate in all weather conditions
