🎯 Position Focus
Broadacres Academy is expanding and requires a passionate Grade 4 Class Teacher with a strong specialisation in teaching isiZulu or Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) up to Grade 6. The school emphasizes constructivist, learner-centered education that encourages exploration, collaboration, and curiosity.
✅ Minimum Requirements

A recognised degree and/or 4-year professional teaching qualification

SACE registration
-
Specialisation in Intermediate Phase isiZulu or Afrikaans FAL (up to Grade 6)

Proficient in online teaching tools such as Microsoft Teams and applications

Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills

Knowledge of and experience in:

21st-century learning methods
-
Constructivist teaching approach

CAPS curriculum
-
Curriculum planning, classroom management, and continuous assessment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated, energetic, and innovative
