🧭 Main Purpose of the Role:

To manage cash books, bank reconciliations, sundry transactions, expense claims, travel advances, company credit card transactions, and various local and offshore payments — ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness across all finance processes for multiple entities within the group.


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile cash books to bank statements.

  • Prepare and process sundry creditors with full supporting documentation (invoices, statements, emails, AP ledger).

  • Load expense claims and travel advances (validate rates, check ROE, issue deductions when late).

  • Reconcile and manage Avis car rental vouchers and accounts.

  • Load and process marketing payments across multiple entities (Absa & Investec portals).

  • Manage company credit card transactions in Accpac.

  • Raise bank entries and complete bank reconciliations across all group bank accounts.

  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries.

  • Perform manual BOP payments where needed.

  • Assist with BEE reporting and document submission.

  • Ensure bank clearing accounts reconcile to zero at month-end.

  • Complete and file sundry credit applications.

  • Handle ad hoc duties as required by management.


🎓 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric Certificate (required)

  • Financial Diploma/Degree (advantageous)


🧾 Minimum Experience:

  • 4–5 years’ bookkeeping experience

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Solid general ledger experience

  • Experience with Accpac (essential)

  • Familiarity with high-volume transaction environments
