Job Description
SAB (AB InBev) is offering an Apprenticeship in Instrumentation at the Rosslyn Brewery.
The programme is designed to train the successful applicant as a qualified tradesman while gaining hands-on knowledge and technical experience in instrumentation and plant maintenance.
Key Outputs & Responsibilities

Complete a 3–4-year apprentice programme as per company/SETA requirements.

Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean working environment.
-
Comply with all safety, health, and environmental procedures and legislation.

Gain technical knowledge and experience in the instrumentation trade.
-
Locate plant, equipment, spares, and relevant documentation/systems.
-
Participate in planning, budgeting, and job preparation.
-
Assist in evaluating and repairing breakdowns and maintenance.
-
Continuously improve plant, process equipment, and systems.
-
Develop machine-specific technical competence.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science.

National Technical Certificate (N4) in Instrumentation (required).

Higher qualification (N5/N6 in Engineering) advantageous.

Demonstrated engineering aptitude.
