Reddam House Constantia, an IEB school located in the beautiful Constantia Valley, is seeking a Creative Movement Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will help foster students’ academic and personal development while creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and present exciting and engaging Dance lessons.

Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes engaged learning.

Demonstrate professionalism in punctuality, behaviour, and student homework standards.

Continuously evaluate and refine teaching practices.
-
Participate in personal and school-wide professional development.
-
Teach extra lessons on two afternoons per week as required.

Produce high-quality resources for students.
-
Respond to parent emails and telephone messages within 24 hours.

Show loyalty and support for all aspects of Reddam House.

Attend special occasions at the discretion of the relevant Head.

Set and mark exams, as well as other forms of student evaluation.

Write comprehensive report comments for students.

Qualifications & Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience working with primary and nursery school students.

Previous experience with dance programmes.
-
University degree in an appropriate subject area.
-
Certified Teaching Status.

Appropriate right to work in South Africa.
