Pinnacle College Copperleaf seeks a Teacher for FAL Afrikaans – Intersen Phase to contribute to the academic development of students in the Intersen phase (Grade 4-7). The role involves building foundational skills while guiding students toward abstract thinking and independent work.
Duties

Academic Delivery: Delivering future-focused education that motivates, inspires, and challenges students.

Academic Assessment & Reporting: Monitoring student progress and providing comprehensive feedback.

Student Behaviour Management: Ensuring a productive and respectful classroom environment.

School Brand Ambassadorship: Representing the school’s values and ethos both inside and outside the classroom.

Administration: Managing lesson plans, student records, and administrative tasks efficiently.

Health & Safety: Ensuring that students’ well-being is a priority in all classroom activities.
Educators in the Intersen Phase are expected to:

Establish and extend students’ basic education foundations.

Guide students towards developing abstract thought and independent work.

Build constructive relationships with colleagues, parents, and the community.

Maintain professionalism and integrity at all times in both teaching and interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
-
An undergraduate degree (NQF level 6) and PGCE or B. Education (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase).

SACE certification and police clearance are required.

2-5 years of Teaching Experience.

Computer and digital literacy is essential.

First Aid certification.
