Minimum Requirements

Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF Level 6)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory supervision

Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
-
Ability to lead a team and ensure adherence to processes
-
Solid understanding of stock control systems and documentation procedures
-
Proactive, hands-on attitude with attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
-
Supervise store personnel, including storemen, tyre fitters, and maintenance staff
-
Evaluate and report on stock movement daily
-
Coordinate receipt, storage, packing, and timely delivery of goods and materials
-
Order supplies and maintain suitable inventory levels
-
Check, process, and file relevant documentation accurately
-
Ensure adherence to housekeeping, maintenance standards, and health & safety regulations
-
Conduct daily inspections of the yard, tyre maintenance area, fitting tools, and consumables
-
Coordinate workshop management and operations staff on fleet inspections
-
Liaise with other departments and customers
-
Organise weekly tyre scrapping meetings and maintain related documentation
-
Coordinate with service providers to remove scrap tyres from site
