Minimum Requirements

National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field

Proficient in MS Office with strong administration skills

Sound knowledge of OHASA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Management Systems, COID Act, relevant Road Traffic legislation, and SANS standards
-
Leadership qualities with ability to promote teamwork and motivation
-
Ability to handle general HSE queries in the workplace
-
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet contract/customer deadlines
-
Knowledge of accident & incident investigation, reporting, recording, and remedial actions
-
Knowledge of the transport industry is an advantage
-
Familiarity with SHEQ X is a plus
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct monthly safety inspections and risk assessments as required
-
Assist Contract Manager in audit preparation
-
Update SHEQ notice boards regularly
-
Collect and assemble SHEQ statistics for monthly reporting/presentations
-
Conduct monthly operations audits to monitor compliance with policies and procedures
-
Update information in the Entropy System (incident, accident, inspection, and audit reports)
-
Review driver matrix for training, medicals, and working/driving hours compliance
-
Maintain housekeeping standards per legal, company, and contract requirements
-
Monitor customer SHEQ performance and ensure reporting availability in Entropy
-
Ensure SHEQ training is maintained and aligned with customer requirements
-
Conduct toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and DriveCam coaching/reporting
