Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (or Grade 10 / NQF level 2)

Code EC driver’s license with PrDP – “D” if required to operate a DG vehicle

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a petroleum driver

Safe driving record and clean criminal record

Valid passport
Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare vehicles for trips and operate ultra-heavy duty vehicles
-
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips
-
Handle documentation from dispatch to customer and back to the distribution centre
-
Ensure roadworthiness of the vehicle when leaving the depot
-
Be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Account for all goods being transported to customers

Follow all reasonable instructions from supervisor
