Role Purpose
To provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Minimum Requirements

National Senior Certificate (essential)
-
Enrolled Nursing Certificate (essential)
-
Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse (essential)
-
2–3 years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse (essential)

Proficient in MS Office / Office 365
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and retrieve accurate medical documentation
-
Ensure proper stock control and charging
-
Promote employee safety awareness and follow waste management protocols
-
Use, clean, and store medical equipment correctly
-
Report damaged equipment or potential risks
-
Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment
-
Monitor, interpret, and record vital signs
-
Perform wound care and suture/clips removal
-
Assist doctors and professional nurses when needed
-
Collect and log laboratory specimens
-
Administer injections, including family planning and IVs
-
Issue and record chronic medication
-
Compile daily observation data
