Job Description
-
Sample collection at abattoirs.
-
Receiving and cataloguing of samples in the laboratory.

Organizing and preparing samples.

Assists in the preparation of test reagents.
-
Performs microbiological, serological and molecular assays for the detection and identification of bacterial agents using well-defined procedures.

Keeps records and makes reports on assignments received.
Job Requirements
-
BSc Hons in Microbiology, Animal Health or related field.
-
Background knowledge of microbiology, serology and PCR.
-
Good interpersonal skills.
-
A driver’s license will be an added advantage.
