Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (and currently studying towards a PhD)

A relevant undergraduate qualification (e.g., BTech, BEng, BScEng, Advanced Diploma, or National Diploma)

At least 3 years of teaching or professional experience

Strong communication and lecturing skills

Passion for teaching and research

Registrable as a Professional Engineer or Engineering Technologist with ECSA
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Teach Chemical Engineering subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
-
Supervise postgraduate students and projects
-
Develop course materials
-
Conduct research and participate in research projects
-
Contribute to industrial and community engagement initiatives
-
Use of online learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Microsoft Teams)
-
Assist with administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department
-
Participate in departmental and institutional academic activities
