This three-year internship provides a platform to launch a graduate professional’s career in the financial industry. The role requires an individual who is target-oriented and motivated by incentives tied to sales. The Graduate Advisor will focus on building and prospecting a client base within the young professional student base, utilizing a well-established platform for marketing risk and investment products.
The role will report to the Pretoria offices.
Minimum Requirements
Formal Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.

CFP (Certified Financial Planner) qualification would be advantageous.

South African driver’s license and own transport.
Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge or experience in the insurance industry would be advantageous.

Familiarity with the PPS product range and PPS membership would be an advantage.
Computer Literacy:

Proficient in the MS Office package.
Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Skills:

Ability to relate to a diverse market.

Written and oral communication with strong presentation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Focus on becoming a professional Financial Planner.

Host financial workshops for students and young professionals.

Educate existing clients on sound financial principles.

Guide students and young professionals in making the right financial choices from the beginning.

Collaborate with the PPS Marketing Specialist for marketing activities and campus workshops.

Conduct appointments with PPS student members to explain the PPS student product range and benefits.

Build a client base by selling the PPS student product range to members.

Adhere to regulations and compliance processes in the financial industry.

Stay up to date with industry trends and further qualifications in the financial industry.

Be willing to be mentored and trained by experienced managers in the new model.
