uPhongolo Local Municipality invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Financial Internship Programme 2025.
Internship Requirements:

Matric
-
BCom in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or SCM, or a National Diploma in the same fields.

Must be computer literate.

No prior experience required.

Interns will work under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer.

Preference will be given to local community applicants.

Key Performance Areas:

Assisting in implementing GRAP and budget reforms.

Preparing VAT reconciliation.

Assisting with monthly and annual financial statements.

Performing reporting, expenditure, and revenue management.

Supporting supply chain/procurement management.

Developing and implementing financial/budget policies.
-
Carrying out other duties as directed by supervisors.
