Program Details:

The YES Programme at Unilever is designed to ignite your potential and provide hands-on experience across various business functions. Interns will play a key support role across different business areas, gaining accelerated work experience in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Interns will support teams in different business functions, contributing to essential operations. The key functions are:

1. Customer Development (CD):

   • Work with major supermarkets to ensure optimal sales and customer collaboration.

2. Culinary:

   • Assist in product demos, logistics for events, and content creation for webinars and videos.

3. Marketing:

   • Help drive brand building, consumer engagement, and market share growth.

4. Supply Chain:

   • Learn end-to-end processes from sourcing to delivery.

5. Human Resources (HR):

   • Support in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

6. Finance:

   • Assist with financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

7. IT (Information Technology):

   • Provide technological solutions and contribute to digital transformation.

8. Mechanical Engineering:

   • Work on engineering projects and manufacturing processes.

9. Safety Health and Environment (SHE):

   • Support in reducing occupational health and safety risks.

10. Communications:

• Assist with internal and external communications, corporate affairs, and PR.

11. Learning & Rewards:

• Focus on employee development, training, and compensation strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Age: 18 – 34 years

• South African citizen

• Currently unemployed and not studying full-time

• Completed Matric (Grade 12)

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous)

• No more than 2 years of work experience

• Commitment to the 12-month programme

• Strong computer literacy

• Good time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
