Waterberg District Municipality invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for its Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP) for the year 2025.
Programme Overview
This is a 36-month fixed-term internship aimed at providing structured training and practical exposure within a Municipal Budget and Treasury Office. The programme is guided by the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003, and aligns with the Municipal Minimum Competency Regulations (Gazette 29967 of June 2007).
💰 Stipend: R100 000 per annum (all-inclusive)

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:

Have Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Hold a three-year National Diploma or BCom Degree in one of the following:

Financial Management
-
Accounting
-
Economics
-
Finance (including Risk Management and/or Auditing)
-
-
Be between the ages of 21 and 35
-
Not have participated in any internship programme before
-
No prior work experience required
