About the Internship Role
Graduate Internship Programme (GIP) – Fixed Term Contract

Open to graduates with a National Diploma or 3-year qualification.

Fields: Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Sport Science, and Computer Science.
Infrastructure Skills Development Grant (ISDG) – 3 Year Contract

GIS Internships: Diploma/degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geo-informatics, or related fields. Must be preparing to register with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC).

Urban Planning Internships: SACPLAN-accredited degree (Town/City/Regional Planning or Urban Planning). Must be eligible for SACPLAN registration.
Interns will work full-time during office hours and gain exposure to City projects and mentorship opportunities.
Who Should Apply

Unemployed South African graduates under 35 years old.

Permanently residing within Cape Town.

Graduates from local universities, universities of technology, TVET colleges are encouraged.

Must not be enrolled in other full-time studies (PhD students and Work Integrated Learning exceptions apply).

GIS interns: ArcGIS (Python is an advantage).
